Those expensive movies sometime become the best achievement of film industry in term of revenue, but sometime they’re not that good. 10) Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest:$225 million



Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is a fantasy film produced in 2006 and the second film on Pirates of the Carribean series. It was directed by Gore Verbinski. The film was starred by Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy, Stellan Skarsgård and Naomie Harris. The film is the 4th highest grossing film in term of revenue with a total $1,066,179,725 in gross revenue. It was released by July 7, 2006.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a fantasy-adventure film released on July 15, 2009. It’s the sixth installment of Harry Potter series a novel by J.K.Rowling.
