About

Dananjaya Hettiarachchi is the World Champion of Public Speaking - 2014 conferred by Toastmasters International. He is both a passionate speaker and a committed Human Resource Development specialist. He is amongst a handful of HRD consultants in the Asia-Pacific region that specializes in Performance Prediction, Profiling based Recruitment and Rapid Competency Development in adults. Today he works closely with select organizations that value innovative, results-based HRD solutions to specialized organizational challenges. Dananjaya has pioneered several adult learning and performance prediction models that are currently being used by global organizations to meet specific challenges in training, recruitment and performance management.

As one of Sri Lanka’s most sought after trainers; he is known for his acclaimed Sales, Communication, Change Leadership, Relationship Management and Contact Centre Training. He is the partner of choice for many organizations that require results based competency training for their staff.

His work involvement is not limited to the private sector. Dananjaya works closely with the Sri Lankan Government on developing scalable HRD models that focus on enabling public sector development and reform. Most of Dananjaya’s work focuses on strategic planning, Index based HRD infrastructure and Rapid Competency Development to enhance organizational service delivery capabilities. Currently he works with key public sector organizations that look to leverage HRD as a lever for performance enablement.

Dananjaya is currently reading for an MSc in HRD and Performance Management from the University of Leicester, UK. He also holds an MBA in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree with a Double Major in Marketing and Management, Australia. He is a Chartered Marketer and holds a professional Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
